You get wolf marks and PvP experience. Feast is the only reliable way to grind up PvP experience since other queues are dead, but if you're doing nothing but idling you might want to queue up for Frontline roulette since it's a lot for the actual time you spend in it, just little for how long the queue takes.

You will be at a disadvantage for awhile, but most players in The Feast are so bad that it isn't really a big deal. Very few people take the mode seriously and most games are decided by whether you are, or you get one of these people. Just do your best to hold your weight and you're already going to be better than the numerous eso farmers, if you learn the mode mechanics and strategies you can go in first time and do better than all the people who don't bother.
