CoC is freeplay, but it's sort of dry, with basically no story, still it's worth trying

It's grindy in that top tier stuff is expensive and it takes a lot of work to afford it, but artifact hunting is a pretty involved process that you actually have to prepare for and pay attention to and all that, so it's not like you're just farming creeps for days on end.
And you don't need the top tier shit anyways unless you're a basefag, peasant set like this is totally fine for pve.

I'm trying to install CoC. I have Call of Pripyat installed on steam but the standalone mod installer isn't detecting it for some reason.

What can I do to get the installer to notice that the game is installed? I've looked through the FAQs and no one else seems to be having this issue.

Have you launched CoP at least once after downloading it on Steam? Maybe it doesn't do the registry properly until you do that.

Well fuck, didn't mess with scaling at all. The weird thing is, the normals SHOULDN'T be this messed up - they look fine in ms3d. So I'm beginning to think its overriding the normals during export or something. And yeah I have HQ geometry clicked, without it it starts removing faces duplicate faces and leaves holes in the mesh.

oh hell no I'm not leaving that sight permanently attached. The only thing I WOULD do is make more sights attachable.
