The general consensus among Nazis was that Slavs weren't a race and that there was a certain percentage of Nordics among them (while the lager part of them was of inferior racial types). So "Slav=subhuman" wasn't really the Nazis' view. Wetzel's Generalplan Ost commentary for instance mentions that the people in NW Poland are racially very similar to the Germans living in the area.

Photos taken by propaganda crews would be of high quality. Those pics were taken with (compared to the pro-equipment of that time) low quality cameras that were affordable for the average soldier.

Well, the idea that the "living space" of Germans should be expanded was pretty common and Hitler probably shared it. Saying that GPO would have been a giant Slavocaust as many pleb/wiki historians seem to think is bs though. The main method of Germanisation of the areas (mainly Poland, Baltic countries, Southern Ukraine) would have been a mixture of expulsion and (forced) assimilation. Not saying that's good though.

OK, a few things.

While there were certainly some individual nazis who absolutely hated Slavs (Himmler, Bormann being the most notable), anti-slavism was never an official German policy, otherwise Slavs wouldn't be able to obtain Ahnenpass or enlist in the SS like they often did.

The "Untermensch" brojure that's often mentioned actually uses Croatians and Bulgarians as an example of "Aryan people". Go look it up, you can find scans of the original on the internet.

Croatia, Slovakia and Bulgaria were Axis members, Slovakia was even Hitler's ally from day 1 of the war. There were SS divisions created specifically for Croatians, Bosniaks or Ukrainians to join. A good number of Poles fought in the Wehrmacht.

Sorbs, a Slavic minority living in German lands, were considered Aryans. If Hitler wanted to exterminate them, he could've done it without any trouble considering their small population and being concentrated fully within Germany. Instead they were treated like any other Germans.

Nuremberg laws didn't mention Slavs at all, the only ethnicities prohibited from breeding with Germans were the Jews and the Gypsies.

Numerous high ranking people in nazi Germany (Globocnik, von Manstein, von Bach-Zelewski) had Slavic roots. Nobody seemed to care.

According to top nazi racial scientists like Rosenberg and Gunther, Slavs were not even a race but a collection of various races speaking similar tongues. Rosenberg in particular claimed the Russians are just largely Finno-Ugric people with some Nordics mixed in, speaking a Slavic language.

They want to do to non-slavs the same thing Hitler did to slavs.
