I just tried the deacons of the deep using only Morne's rage spam. It was kind of fun watching bodies fly

So I just finished the game using an Uchigatana dex build with a bit of pyromancy for the most part.

Someone decide my next character's build for me, I never find NG+ any fun since it's just the same shit I've already done for one playthrough for the most part.

I don't get it. Yeah Gwyn's music is sad, but does that make the fight good? No it doesn't.
It has 0 atmosphere. You're fighting a literal who, never even heard of this creature before. There's 0 buildup. He doesn't have any unique moves. His OST isn't even a grandiose piece either or memorable.

No, other than the general implication that Lordran is the Land of Giants Archstone that was missing in DeS and the similarities between The Nexus and Firelink.

It's extremely situational, but when you hide(camouflage/branch/ring) at the end of a narrow ledge and nail the host and his buttbuddies just as they're about to run past you, knocking them all off, it's so satisfying.

That said, I'd agree that the fight would have been better if it actually adopted the Gwyn model for the second form. Just the music and the moveset isn't enough.

So when I hold the Pontiff Knight Sword in my character's left hand the heavy attack makes her spin the sword around a bit. Is that supposed to be a parry? It drains stamina so I dunno. Never tried. Does anyone know?

What are some good dex scaling weapons in DS3?

Always check. I used to do that as I'm new to DS PvP, but getting better at ganks and shit means I always check. Often it's a red that needs help or just a setup you know you can handle.

once you get that the Soul of Cinder's Carcass is you, it really gives you a sad but good feeling, it validates linking the flame in the first one, because otherwise ds3 wouldn't exist if you didn't. It finally shows that Linking the flame actually makes the world go on, so long as there's fuel.
