I don't want to make her eyes too crazy otherwise it detracts from the 'casual' feel of her hair and stance. Messy hair and the relaxed personality wouldn't do too well with a prominent eye texture or highlight for her. The red eyes to imply a sense of energy and passion is enough for her atm.

I might consider changing the eye/highlight down the track. I really like how she turned out.
