Is there some kind of strategy to no weapons Ring TDM? I find I'm always flying in circles over the same area along with one guy on the enemy team and maybe somebody else every once in a while, constantly grabbing the same few rings from each other. It's pretty dull, but I reckon I'm doing something wrong because I get around 60-70k while a few others are well over 100k.

I met similar players like that but with slightly higher MR, I suppose the question is, what do they gain from that? I mean sure we get our kicks in different ways but I still wonder why they'd waste fuel that way

Yeah, but what gets around my head even more now is why ask these low MR players host hard 4 player rooms. I'd understand if it was for that nickname challenges for b7r, but shit is present all around.

I have planes from the standard tree just under or above 1500 CST, but my MR is 1466 because I have been playing Ring TDM and losing majorly.

I'm not talking about timed events, chap. I meant coop missions.

Oh. Dunno. I was at 2000 or so at some point, but I guess losing enough just made my MR drop like it was experiencing puberty.

I kinda do the same thing. I wanted to say this is one of the moments pure skills comes to play, and I've seen a lot of people doing some crazy stunts, but most of the time they just keep buzzing around the clustered areas (such as the airfiled in San Diego or the bridge in Tokyo) stealing each other's rings.

It all depends on the "fever" moments, if you manage to get lots of rings on them your score will skyrocket. Then again, keeping in a same area will be good teamwork (if your buddies know what they're doing) because you'll keep one or even two rivals busy around you recapturing the rings you stole. It works damn well with props due to their outrageous mobility, you can out-turn jets and
keep doing it forever. The rings near spawn points are particularly good for that.

Try the ring battle. It's basically free Pilot Aptitude Test with a shitton money and more competition.
