There are people here who have just been posting about how much they want a sequel or more content of some kind since the game came out in 2012. In the 4 years every one of them could have easily picked up art or writing or music to a proficient level and made their own VN with all of the things they love to bitch about KS not having.

Then again, bitching and whining is a free action. If you're still here after 4 years then it's safe to say you've given up on putting effort into anything.

Yes, or so I've heard. They even wrote it on their site, do not make sequels, do not make spin-offs, things that are somewhat correlated to KS are still strongly discouraged.

You'd think a bunch of ordinary people who got together on Veeky Forums to make a game based off a doujin made by someone else and haven't done anything since would be fine with a fan spin-off.

Obviously we're all attached to the characters or the concepts, but that doesn't mean you have to restrict yourself entirely to making content about those particular things.

I still think they shouldn't give a fuck, unless people tried to charge money for it (and they are pretty strongly against this, but this didn't happen), but it's their choice.

They encourage people trying to make VNs, but they would prefer if they made original content (that is, not including Yamaku or any KS character).

On the other hand, I don't see the issue with not wanting people to make half-assed spinoffs on something you spent 5 years working on.
