Why doesn't blizzard just scrap pvp and make it so you can run hots inside wow and earn rewards from it?

I quit towards the end of throne of thunder in MoP. Got free warlords and 7 days of gametime. How much gold do you get from leveling from 90-100? Tokens are 80-90k on my realm, and I think I had about 50k gold on my main character when I left.

Also, I have shit internet (27GB to go right now, at 120 kb/s. Yeah that's not a typo). How playable is "playable" compared to optimal on the launcher? Can I start leveling or should I wait for a bit longer?

basically it'll download where you are in the world and the surrounds, so if your character's in one zone and you fly into another you'll be met with untextured crap, or get really long loading screens when you zone into any instance or take a portal/zep/ship etc.
