Hanamura and Temple of Anubis are pretty defense sided. First point in Hanamura is somewhat OK, last point has almost no downtime.

Anubis is terrible all around, first chokepoint is INSANE and can get filled with towers and static shit you won't see until you get past, and the second point is nigh indestructible. It also takes too long for the Offense to get to it.

Other than that I'm really liking the maps, they look super nice.

Hanamura is fucked if the defense team picks Bastion which they will always do.

Route 66 is fucked at the final leg which has sweet fuck all downtime and tons of cover for the defending team.

Watchpoint Gibraltar is all kinds of fucked at point 3 which is a fucking retarded as shit corner that you have to push the payload up with the enemy team getting height advantage and a super easy backdoor.

the only possible way to fight him effectively is to stay at essentially sniper range which only one character ever will so no mcree will ever fight you at that distance effectively removing the whole "his weapon drops off in damage at range" aspect of his "counterplay"

80% of the action happens in close to medium range where he can just faceroll you without any risk

you cant flank him because he will just turn around and autokill you

cant fight him at range because he will win

I'm conflicted on if I want to buy the game.
I've been playing all day yesterday with a friend and the day before alone and it seems fun so far.

I don't get who designed Genji at all. He is meant to be a hit and run mobile offensive guy that picks at lone targets, but the map layout and his horrible damage don't support this. Half the walls aren't able to be climbed over in most maps because of sliding roofs and you can't get a flanking position on healers. Even if you do, you'll have to hit them with all 3 of your shurikens which does not even guarantee a kill on every low hp character and there's no way you're going in a clumped up enemy team.
I only see him as a counter to bastion and being more of an annoyance than a threat when I'm against him. His ultimate is really trash compared to other characters, his sword takes half the screen away and you can't really aim it against a moving target and deals like only 100 damage a hit. He's fun to play, but I don't see him working out if the enemy team has a good composition
