So because I hate myself I'm thinking of making a Dark damage focused build despite literally no innate dark-scaling weapons existing and all dark versions of magic being mediocre outside of Deep Protections buff. I know I need specific catalysts to get passable damage from dark magic like the Izalith Catalyst. But what are the stats to hit for it since I've seen no one talk about Dark infusion compared to other builds? Is it like pyro where 30/30 or 40/40 is best or do you need to go even higher to get maximum Dark bns? And are there any weapons that uniquely benefit from Dark infusion or is it the same ones as Pyro like Chaos Astora Greatsword?

What would my build look like, anyways? I'm assuming I want to use a Chaos infused weapon, but which one? Someone also told me that the Gargoyle Flame Spear is a good choice too, how is it?
