there isnt for looking for general information, no. the karma/deleting system makes it so that people are 'forced' into posting correct info because karma matters to a lot of people for some stupid reason. but for actual discussion, Veeky Forums is superior in every way due to the honesty and lack of a upvote/downvote system.

no, it's shit. when i trained cb i kept all my levels in line.
Pre-eoc i was ranged + melee due to the costs of mage.
Post eoc, mage and melee because range is a shit.

all combat styles are literally the same until you actually get into bossing, and from the sound of it, you're not even close

overloads, a shitty gwd2 weapon and 43 prayer is all you need for araxxor.

how did you manage to spend that much? it was only ~100m with a reasonable method before double xp so it should be even cheaper now

My lowest stat is 78, and most of my stats, bar the not fun and grindy ones like farming, theiving, etc, are mid to high 80s. 96 prayer, 99 def, 86 herb. 84 range, 99 mage, 90 atk, 86 str. Also qpc.

I'm quite close to bossing, and almost always have to cancel ranged slayer tasks.

The ability dps calc gives a value ≈ the same as mage. Mage doesn't have snipe and has ancients.

Ranged is the worst cb skill.

Good luck doing any worthwhile bossing scrub.

well, its obvious magic and halberd-melee weapons are better than range for slayer because of their aoe abilities.

its also obvious range is the best style for bossing at pretty much all levels. qbd, nex, and rots range is the best style. araxxor and kk you use range or melee. vorago, beastmaster, and yaka you use magic or range, but rangers get the benefit of group veng/heal at raids making it better.

Melee would be the best, but berserks short duration and the fact you have to run around with melee limits you to range or magic for most bosses. And as you can see, most bosses in the game are geared towards benefiting range over magic.

i will admit that i have very little experience with rots myself, its just that the guys ive seen with thousands of rots kills always use the same void/nox bow or ascs loadout.

absolutely, it's just worth noting mage is superior when running as it doesn't have snipe and dbreath can hit multiple brothers when running them
