Are you doing Unchained + Berserk? You should have no issue keeping Maim and Storms Eye up while keeping aggro in Defiance.

Peak WoW was 10 times more populated than the next biggest MMO. most estimates put FFXIV at under a million active subs, WoW could be anywhere from 5mil to 2mil right now. What else even is there?

provoke just basically sets you to someone else's threat +1, so you always need to follow it up with a high enmity ability. BB is the best choice if you can buffer a SS beforehand, but you can also chase it with an overpower or flash in a pinch.

It usually helps because it ensures your next weaponskill is an aggro skill. If you're stil having trouble, use your stacks for the AoE aggro attack instead of IB, even if it's on a single target. You should be good with that.
