8 frames was enough to completely shutdown capcoms plans to make the ps4 version of ultra the main platform. It's a fucking huge deal when there are so many windows in attacks that are intended to easily be punishable but instead being incredibly hard to punish because of the extra delay.

If the game was balanced around having 8 frames it would be fine. But it's not so instead Kens are able to get away with tons of shit and get massive rewards because they are supposed to be punished if they fail. No risk high reward

The game was developed with the delay in mind so it would effect things dramatically. All overheads and most dashes would be rendered useless.
That's because Ultra was made with 5f of lag instead of 8.
