One requires a sense of timing and depends on the enemy doing things. The other just involves pointing and shooting, it doesn't require initiative on the part of the enemy, or any interaction whatsoever. There's less room for error.

I don't want Genjis on my team. When I tell people what to do against Bastion, these are people that you do not want playing Genji. Genji in general is easier to fuck up on than most characters while those other three are more generally effective.

This is easy to accomplish. If you already know that Bastion is shooting at something else that isn't you, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. Bastion cannot deal with multiple targets at once unless they conga line into him.

Only if the Bastion is otherwise occupied. If he's not, he'll start firing on you the moment he sees you. (And if he's already occupied, you can just shoot shurikens at him, just like the other ranged characters you suggested. Shurikens don't have bullet drop.)

I don't think he's overpowered, but I do think he needs to be tweaked.
The damage output is way too good, he can melt a Roadhog in like 1.5 seconds max.
He either needs a good spread (or big damage fall of at range), less rate of fire, or slower turning. Instead put some power into his non-turret form capabilities.
