Her damage kind of sucks, especially if you're not right in their face. They could buff it, or increase her range.

I think her shielding ability is very lame/boring. Maybe just scrap that and replace it with something else? Probably won't do this.

I'm not saying she should have Reaper tier burst but it'd be nice if she wasn't completely ignorable unless right in your face.
Her critbox issues counterbalance that along with the fact she moves at snail's pace when shooting. So why not buff her damage a bit?

I hope so. Although Blizzard restricted freedom with a lot of their games, SC2 and Warcraft had plenty of community support.

As someone who played a lot of 6v6 back before TF2 became a hat simulator the only TF2 class that has a vastly higher skillcap than the OW equivalent is Soldier (vs Pharah).

Most classes in OW do have a lower skill floor than TF2 classes, but that isn't always the case and won't be relevant at high levels of play anyway.

But it's, like, most people wanted to make peace, stop the fighting, and figured out a way to handle a terrible situation. And all it takes is a handful of loud-mouth cunts screaming "FUCK OFF WE'RE FULL" to balls it up for the rest of us.

I won't deny that overall the execution is solid. But it's bland. There are no trickstabs, no trick jumps with rockets or stickies. There is no medic leashing, no good airblasts (genji is a joke in this regard). Basically, overwatch is polished, but lacks all of the charm or skilled play of tf2.

You forgot junkrat being a lower skillcap version of the demo. Also, IMO, mercy is a lower skill cap version of the medic.

The classes overwatch succeeded at making more interesting are the sniper (french girl), and possibly the scout (genji), but only if you consider vanilla items only.

Pyro vs. Mei is kind of a wash. Airblasting is fun, but so is creating a giant wall. The other classes don't have an easy comparison (maybe heavy vs. zarya?)

I never cared about any of that, so meh. I never even liked TF2 and I actually paid for it back in the day.
