It was either completely ignored, or a vague mention of the entire fic was stated, which is wrong, because while some parts are darker, they're not edgy, and if you think they are, you're misinterpreting the word.
You can remain elitist if you'd like, but it is worthy of the praise it receives, and judging by the amount of reviews it gets, you're ridiculously outnumbered in your views.

I've tried, but it's hard to get invested when you can easily just turn mould Naruto in a certain way instead. There's an ANBU fic though where naruto works with a team of ANBU OCs that are surprisingly likeable though.
