Kushina should've been really OP; most powerful biju's jinchuriki and nigh unlimited chakra due to her Uzumaki bloodline. People often insert their weird ideas into a fic without really taking into account how such an issue would be seen by the world and characters themselves, they just use the characters as vehicles for their views.

I recall reading a really shitty imitation of Team 8 that had the same team of Shino, Naruto and Hinata, but under Anko. The guy had Anko detail to a bunch of twelve year olds how she is bisexual and how it is the only sensible option to have, then describe to them how she is in some polyamorous relatioinship with a guy and a girl, and then of course a couple of badly written chapters later the genin were on their way to be a similar trio as well.

The fic was ridiculously badly written and after a few chapters I just read on a bit, wondering how bad it gets before I'd drop it, but the point is that some people just insert their weird views into what they write, without even really doing it well.

I also thought the way the author chose to do Fuu was interesting.

Whatever the Aburame do, it's probably not really nice.
