Because we won't get more ace combat games if 7 does poorly, and the best chance we have for 7 to do well is a full cross platform release. AC:AH sold a million copies *despite* being shit because it was on all 3 major platforms. Imagine if AC6 was on PS3 and PC, it probably would have sold closer to 1.5 million instead of 700k.

The PS2 sold 155 million units. The Gamecube and Xbox both sold 20 million each. The PS2 was frankly just completely dominant.

Though looking at PS4 and Xbox One sales figures, the PS4 seems to be pretty dominant too. It's sold on the order of 30 million units to the Xbox One's 3 million.

Maybe AC7 will do alright after all. We'll have to wait and see.

This is actually hilariously old data on the xbox one + ps4 apparently. I looked it up and it's closer to 36 million and 18 million (for the PS4 and Xboner respectively).

Still a large advantage to the PS4 but not as comically huge as 155 million to 20 million.

Recently got a chipped 360 and considering playing it.

As someone said before, if you just skip the cut-scenes and turn off the voices, it's pretty OK
