Zen is god tier. Heals, dmg orbs, and sniper range with no dmg dropoff and an ult that can heal through anything. A Zen behind a Reinhardt is guaranteed to be on fire the entire round.

Well, his background and the fact he was really into the military structure played into the way he reacted to things, and when he was initially in charge he ran Overwatch like a spec ops unit. They needed him for a war, and a babyface like Morrison wasn't going to be able to make the hard choices.
Once the war was won and it was time for Overwatch to be goody two-shoes to the public, they took away everything and made him the shit Mexican janitor. He probably had to do some really horrible things during Blackwatch and his initial Overwatch tenure for the sake of the mission, and I can't imagine it sat well with him pre-Reaper.
He really didn't do anything wrong at first, and he's only a small piece of the puzzle of what the fuck is going on, so maybe there's still a chance for him to still not be entirely a monster.

There's not really much I can teach for Zenyatta desu. I was pretty bad with him, but then it eventually clicked. Still can't deal with good Genjis/Tracers for the life of me though.
