Killing Quiet in 11 is the humane thing to do since if you keep her alive, she is tortured the whole game thinking she will get the V's D, but is left to die instead.

It's humane but not killing anyone, letting her forgive, make friends, and die on her own accord is more humane as well as the only canon choice.
