Stellaris in a nutshell.

fug :-DDDDDDDDD

So whats the Image about?

>replying to yourself

>anime
>good

Holy shit the create new fleet option needs some fucking work. It's tedious as hell

just drag and drop shit!

filename

an attempt at ranking weapon types.

Which bug fixing or gameplay enhancing mods are recommended?

all the mods in the pastebin are outdated

That doesn't work

>mod archive
>is a bunch of folders with random numbers

you could at least name the mods

Does the game only say your fleet power is superior when the other civ has less than half your power?
I've got an ally that's "equivalent" but I'm at ~9k and he's at 6.

you could use your brain for once

Yeah but he's got a 3k dick and you're sitting at zero in that regard.

some one planet empire had equivalent fleet power when I had about 30 planets and 800 ships, my fleet power must have been like 80k

>look inside mod folders
>random files named ghauighhrg.zip

cool retard

so is this ever going to happen or do I need to build a frontier outpost here?

How can I make it so that portraits are of a certain phenotype only?

From what I understand the Fleet Power measurement is more like POTENTIAL Fleet Power.

So they have the potential to be equal to you. Doesn't mean they currently are.

you cant be this stupid

Which type of galaxy should I play in next?

>elliptical
>spiral + hyperspace only
>ring + hyperspace only

I dont think so. I went to war with equivalent. Big empire but slightly smaller than mine. I won the battle it was like 100k vs 100k, I had about 30k left. No stations destroyed/planets invaded or anything. His fleet power went to pathetic.

elliptical+warp only

Why are torpedoes in there three times?

>filename
it really puts the guesswork into trying to decipher what the fuck the picture is trying to convey

Outpost borders do not grow on their own.
Planetary borders grow with pop and tech.
Give one planet the Land of Opportunity Edict to make its borders grow faster.
Once both borders touch they'll combine their growth.

what kind of xeno do you prefer?

Because they're good, but they get wrecked by pd

Last night I tried to assault a tropical planet as a Human with 7 armies after decimating their fleet and tearing down their fortifications to 0 and I still lost.

Do I need to research tropical colonization in order to conquer these planets?

Mouse over the defending armies to look at their stats.

Some AIs seem to love researching army techs.

There are army tech? Or you mean like clones and shit?

Unless you want huge pain in the ass, don't be hyperspace in spiral

GOOOBI PLIS
If anyone created a battletech civ, I wanna see it!

Did you haul all the species of the galaxy on the same planet?

>Synthetic xenomorphs
It's even worse then robot clones

I couldn't see any defending armies. It's like my troops just disintegrated when they launched down to the planet.

You sure you landed on the right one?

You should see armies if you are orbiting the planet, that's for sure.

Yes I'm sure. Also kek this space turtle.

Are you bad enough dude to take on Fallen Empire?

So, I'm playing a hyperspace game. Which planet should I colonize first? I want to reserve as much territory as possible.

>still no borders

I'd rush for chokepoint at A.

But considering you are intruding on the land of unidentified empire, you might want to grab their land first

I want Twin Elliptical galaxies and Twin Spiral galaxies for Stellaris

>Sir, we've entered the Bikini sector

in that case what is the point of Naval capacity?

Did you pain your emblem black?

Also, Bravo Paradox for letting empires have black colours. Works very well against black backdrop.

lube up or shove off, senpai

No, I'm on a mac. It's apparently a common bug for anything outside windows and Paradox doesn't give a fuck. I can't even bear to play it once I start running into other empires.

>mute music
>play ES soundtrack mixed with EL soundtrack
This is better

I use solely synth armies for RP purposes

Fallen Empire?

Uplifted earthbound snakoids that I've enhanced with strength and trained as gene warriors with psychic powers.

There are two perfect candidates for membership in my alliance, they both like me and would accept in normal situation, but they are allied to each other with -1000 malus. What to do?

Order some cum lube from Bad Dragon and a dragon dildo to simulate the feeling your empire is about to get

Yes, those are guys who are pre-generated with overpowered fleet and supreme technology, but can't build anything or expand and only harass new empires over random shit.

Exterminate one down to a single planet, vassalize them, then go to war against the other and exterminate them entirely using their old friends for the final assault on their homeworld.

what do

Ay answer my question.
is the devestator(tier III) the best torpedo or is the maurauder (tier V) better? answer now?
also is there way to put taychon lancers on my corvettes?

>overwhelming
open your throat or lube your asshole

Declare rivalry

very strong sedentary repugnant industrial ewoks

Rights never ever, only dismantling.

There are techs that increase army damage, and army hitpoints.

Given the way that invasions work they're essentially pointless, but defenders that do +50% damage and have +50% hitpoints can fuck up an invasion force anyway.

Establish embassy and hope for the best.

Declare Rival and Insult
Insult will increase their hatred by 10% but overtime reduce 25% from what it originally was for a net gain
Rivalry will keep you alive because destroying your rival gets you nothing

>3 wars
>pic related happens
>suddenly no wars
>bored
>clean up my industry
>finally I can attack someone again
>start war
>says I can't reach them
>wot???
>suddenly it works
>war is going great, I annihilate the enemy even though his fleet value is much larger
>suddenly ohh shit I am being backstabbed
>how can that guy suddenly reach me? ohh yeah right, I just purged a shitton of planets between us
>I have only 6 planets and that fucker attacks 2 of my space stations
>they would take forever to rebuild
>want to move one of my fleets back but they are stuck
>sweating intensifies
>I charge head on to get to 100 warscore ASAP
>get to 100 before one of my space stations is destroyed
>war instantly over, phewww
>war lasted not even a single year and now I have to wait 7 years before I can start the next war
JUST

Well, I've just found out there's a fallen empire not far from A, so I guess there's no need to rush for it now.

I'm going to try for C, since it's right outside the other guy's border.

I established embassy and this happened

Looks like the best didn't happen. Unless you have some 40k fleet, prepare your anus and be evicted from your planets. Those were probably very nice pkanets.

on a sidenote

my friend killed the unbidden

can they spawn again? I have never seen them

Founding a Federation was the worst thing I ever did. Having to wait 30 years or so to conquer the assholes I want to conquer instead of some tiny empires on the other side of the galaxy for current president is annoying as hell.

Why is militarist such a heap of shit?
Especially compared to pacifist.

because swedish games are all about winning by being the most progressive, accepting multi-racial empire around

what are you talking about m80

militarist rocks

I don't see the problem with being militarist at the same as being progressive, accepting and multi-racial.

Not playing as a slaving despot has made me appreciate the purge option, it just takes way too long for conquered Xenos to stop being butthurt about it.

You probably have a few holy planets colonized?

killing is wrong, cis scum

except when cis scum is being killed

Is there any reason to colonize tomb worlds? So far I'm not seeing it, they're just poor worlds with always angry pops

Yeah they're upset

>conquer planet
>grow pops to 5
>planetary admin
>migrate pops from designated growth planet
>purge all but one xeno
>further xenos will now develop with my empire's ethics

Depends on how you feel about conditional happiness. Army Strength is worthless and limited/heavy bombardment aren't very significant even if they're a little better than Light.

RIP. Start a new game

sometimes the holy worlds are gaia worlds

prepare to get bred softly

This is why you don't settle those.
Or you settle them without making contact with the Fallen Empire as long as possible.

Far as I'm aware, they don't get pissy if you colonize them BEFORE you meet them.

I colonized 3 of their planets before I met them.

then they told me to vacate them

BUT HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY'RE HOLY PLANETS

Because they're called shit like "Prophet's Retreat".

That didn't seem at all odd, to you?

I never tried to surrender, but if you could, you should probably cut your losses and vacate those planets now.

You see that 'Holy Planet' icon when you look at the planet?

That is sort of an indicator that somebody regards it as their holy planet.

They have modifiers called "Holy World".
If a planet has the "Holy World" modifier, it means that it is a holy world to the fallen empire.
While hovering the "Holy World" modifier you can read that FE will fuck you up if you colonize it.

its not about that its about the other stuff it gives you

grand fleet and military dictatorship

Besides the Holy Planet thing, they always have names that don't match the rest of the system naming theme.

Its a pretty huge tip-off.

You can usually colonize like, one or two maybe if you have an Embassy with them and just try to not piss them off.

So on another topic, if I was making a Corvette in the early game for Point Defense - in case my Rival has missiles - how many is a good number to keep around in a fleet, maybe?

I reloaded a save from a couple hours ago but this is the first time I noticed it was a "holy world"

*tips fedora*

lmao
