What is the best way to emulate mvc2? I run it ok on Nulldc, but it jitters between 56-60 every once in a while

Your only other options are mame(?), ps2(dont, ps2 emulation sucks and the version is worse) or wait till ps3/360 emulation is advanced enough to emulate digital download titles.

I have it on xbox 360, just a pain to setup with monitor, I have a nice setup and I have to rip my xbox out every time I want to play fighting games. Can't play that shit on the big screen

Why/how are sprites 10+ years old look/feel better than brand new models made in 2016? Looking at you, capcom. Characters like amingo felt so alive and fun, but new models just feel so bland. Maybe it's just me :/?

those sprites have dynamic looking movements and were made by people that loved what they were doing

sf5 models are made by outsourced animators and then animated by another team so shits all fucked up and corporate

also its a lot easier to do dynamic looking animations from a 2D viewpoint when using 2D spirtes, guilty gear emulates the look pretty well but it has to use all kinds of crazy camera tricks and took years to come out

3D can look very good, problem is capcom is incompetent with no talent left and outsourced almost all of the game.

It blundered quite hard and there is no improvement in sight. The only reason still play it is because of esports money and the "new sf" train.
It still does quite good at major tourney entry numbers but I claim any game with the brand name would have pulled that community support.
