As always, I try to hit them with staff from behind. I think the game said that you get initiative for the battle if you do that, or at least that's how it has worked always with atelier games.

You were given advice from someone who didn't know the Vita already offers you to deactivate it during format.

The PC psn deactivation thing is an emergency nuke you can only use once every 6 months, so it's best to not use that.

How is Valkyrie Drive?

Because your PSN account has a limited number of activation licenses for your games and when you factory reset it is possible that your device will have a new ID.

As a result, you can end up being unable to run digital purchases because you have too many activated systems, and you can only deactivate a system from the system itself. Sony provides you a "Deactivate All Systems" option through their website, but you can only use it once every 6 months or a year or something.

I've never actually had that be an issue with my vitas though so I think the Vita IDs remain consistent. It is still best practice though and you should do it.

Kind of fun actually. You can explore the level to get some collectibles in most levels that give you lingerie in the Communication Room.

There are also secret Missions to find that basically give you tasks like kill all enemies before your health runs out (defeating an enemy restores your health, but you can bring potions with you anyway), juggle an enemy for 30 seconds, or find and destroy all objects before the time runs out. I haven't done too much of them yet, but there's also Challenge Mode and Survival Mode each with several missions. There's quite a few things to do like the Multiplayer Modes too, but if I could make a complaint it's that in order to unlock certain lingerie, you need to get each girl's Boob Rank to max, so there's some grinding involved with 100%.

Not sure how to feel about unlocking the True Ending route either. You need to get SS ranks on certain stages, but the game won't tell you which ones until you beat the Chaos route. I'm still glad I imported it, but if you can get the Regular edition for less than 60 USD, you'll dig it since it's a Beat 'em Up. If you're worried about language barrier, I got those trophies by knowing my hiragana and katakana along with less than 50 kanji. Brute-forced most of it.
