Given not even mods have fixed it yet, we have to assume no one fucking knows what that would even look like.

I honestly think the patina on the concrete is okay. It's not "fresh" but it's not 200 years old either. What annoys me more is the short sightedness with the settlement building. Look at all this bullshit we've had to suffer with settlement keywords and the like. We should have been free to have, for example:
A) Concrete wall freshly, expertly cast
B) Concrete wall freshly, inexpertly cast
C) Concrete wall seasoned, expertly cast
D)Concrete wall seasoned, pitted, inexpertly cast etc etc.

That might sound autistic as fuck, but we absolutely should have had the freedom to be that insane, rather than what we have, which is homemaker competing with literally every other mod that messes with the menu, including the official dlc.

Not entirely a response to my point, but yes, New materials exist, but they are terrible. Not just in how they stick out, they are actually terrible in an of themselves. Take that wooden re texture that makes everything look like it is soaked in danish oil.

All of them have a ton of patches for each other but some patches seem to also bork each other. Been testing load orders and combinations of them for a couple hours to no success
