Besides military conquest, what would be a good way to create an Eurasian Union?

Besides military conquest, what would be a good way to create an Eurasian Union?

i really can't imagine anything remotely like that happening without conquest
just europe? maybe. the EU already exists. but western europe with east europe, and some of the eurasian states? no way man

not doing it

There is no good way. Also, exclude Norway, because this shit goes against the constitution, man.

>Also, exclude Norway, because this shit goes against the constitution, man.
Could you explain that?

>just europe? maybe. the EU already exists.
I thought that the EU exists due to the economical conquest.

Well in the 90s right after the collapse of the Soviet Union many Russian politicians were pretty warm to the idea of Russia joining NATO and eventually the EU. So its not inconceivable.

Norway has a constitution, ya know man.
And there's like this part that was made because everybody wanted to hate on Sweden and Karl Johan back in the day.
And it specifically mentions that the power of the Norwegian government is not to be divided and stuff, ya know. Because we dun wanted that Karl Johan bastard to take us, and we still got that part of the constitution, man. Even membership of the European Union is technically illegal or whaever, ya know.

A constitution can be modified. You just need enough motivation.

Takes a lot of work though. You're gonna need the majority of the Storting in two successive elections if I remember correctly.

>what would be a good way to create an Eurasian Union
Russia disgregating in independent oblasts that hate each other and won't be seen as a political block.
There's no other way.

You got that map wrong. Airstrip one is in Oceania, not Eurasia

It wasn't inconceivable then, but it is now. The EU hates Russia to their very bones, and their accession would massively tip the balance of power, so the existing members would never allow it

Just accept Russia into EU, problem solved.

This is fucking stupid

It's extremely clear whoever made this has no understanding of modern day geopolitics whatsoever and may well have used crayons to draw a map for the same purpose.

Unlocking the secret Jew money and gold

for a brief period before the US rejected Russia's application to NATO, the eurasian union could have been a thing.

imagine an EU stretching from the atlatic to the pacific, and joining with NAFTA in a free trade/free movement agreement which includes north america and the rich parts of Australasia.

imagine the freedom to move literally anywhere in the rich world and do business there. imagine the whole of the eurosphere as one, getting on with the business of making mad bank and policing the world.

it's what could have been. ;_;

Leave Eurasia to me.

What are you a fuckimg Jew or something
Not everyone has to be artificially unified for the sucking sake of it
Let everyone keep to themselves you culture destroyer

Why are you talking like a retard
Speak normally you cunt

Russia tanks economically so hard people tear Putin apart in some generations. Pretty much 180 on politics thanks to that.

USA destroys its good relationships with Europe. Even becomes sort of antagonist.

China has its own revolution and someone kicks their gommies out.

Pretty much big generation shift where young people start really liking the idea of European Union and even more extensions of it.

>culture
Is just a spook

Wow you are fucking retarded
If there is anything that can truely distinguish humans from one another is their culture

Well spooked my friend.

Is providing an argument for your stupid claims rather than regurgitating a stale meme a spook too?

Ok it goes like that
Culture is artificial construct with no real meaning? What's culture? Wearing some funny folk clothes and singing folk songs? Some gastronomic invention? Why should a man be bothered by a culture dying? Isn't it just humans changing their ways to what suits them better?

Agree with this guy. Culture is low on the totem pole in terms of importance to humanity. It's why pretentious schmucks and political science majors care so much about it. Language, science, math and family are all superior human qualities.

Also, you should actually read history and grasp it's over arching principle that is all cultures are superficial and that war and nature destroy them and then rebuild them.

>muh cultural relativity

Culture is why the middle east is a shithole while Europe is prosperous and (relatively) free. It DOES matter, more than genes even.

Our Culture is the lense through which we see the world
I understand why you might think that this false lense we see the world through is a spook but it's undeniable it has shaped you as much as your memories and experiences have

>implying your culture doesn't determine your language, education, and family relationships.

Languages are artificial and come and go too

And what's that culture exactly? Is what you consider culture getting destroyed or is it really just evolving? Do you think Europe would be prosperous under medieval culture whatever it would be?
But what exactly is the lense and why do you know there is a lense if you can't see the world without the lense?

>lens in which you see the world

Nice metaphor schmuch - can you be any more vague? Worldview does not equal culture. The mathematical model of the universe is the only thing truly universal - and it is a language.

We know this lense exist because you can see its effects on different regions
>western culture is egalitarian and Christian oriented
>middle eastern culture is oppressive and Islam oriented
>Indian culture is racist and oppressive and has a revolves around its caste system
>worldview does not equal culture
Did I say it did?
Did I also not say memories and experiences distort your perception of the world
Does your view on the world not influence how you live your life?

us would have to break NATO treaty and go hyper isolationist. This is essentially the american governments worst nightmare

>us would have to break NATO treaty and go hyper isolationist.
Is this even a thing? I mean, isn't this what they are doing now?

>Besides military conquest, what would be a good way to create an Eurasian Union?

1. Thawing of relations between EU en Russia. Possibly through successes of right wing parties in Europe and a change in power in Russia towards something more liberal/democratic. An increasingly isolationist US is a bonus.

2. Increased cooperation between the EU and the Eurasian Union. Simple trade deals to begin with.

3. A large scale revisionist history of the socialist era. Problem now is that Eastern Europe sees itself as the antithesis of the socialist era, while Russia and others in the ex Soviet sphere see themselves as heirs. A sort of middle ground has to be found.

I don't think the Eurasian Union will be impossible. But it will take time and effort.

Why aren't we doing this yet?

Why would we? States doesn't want to give up all of their power for... an abstract globalism or some shit like that.

>an abstract globalism or some shit like that.
In fact looks like a good step if your goal is "love and peace for all".

>isn't this what they are doing now
Top kek, you're falling for election shit talking. Neither Trump nor Sanders would ever manage to gather enough political capital to do something this retarded. They would never even find the balls to try, they likely realize the stupidity of it.

>what would be a good way to create an Eurasian Union
Russia's population shrinking to France/Germany size. If Europe balks at accepting 75m Turkey, imagine how happy would it be to accept 150m Russia.

Then let's bring hi-tech/life quality to Siberia, and we will reduce the overpopulation of western Europe.

I'm not talking about that. The US always promoted war acts against the NATO will, and nobody gave a fuck. They're always bending or breaking NATO treaty.

>They're always bending or breaking NATO treaty.
Everyone does. like everyone in Europe breaks it by virtue of having military expenditures below 2% of gdp for example. Treaties aren't made to be respected, they're made to create a framework of interactions. No one is gonna flip their shit at rulebreaking, and no one is gonna try to dissolve the alliance.
It's just too convenient for everyone involved. Short of the EU federalizing properly with a real central government and a military, NATO is here to stay.

>many Russian politicians were pretty warm to the idea of Russia joining NATO and eventually the EU.
Yeah. Russia fucked my country over for the past centuries, but even im saying NATO and EU were the assholes here.

The Eu exists in it's current from because of the power vacuum after the collapse of the soviet union.

>Let everyone keep to themselves you culture destroyer
Being in an union someone dissolves ones culture. You obviously haven't been to the USA.

>an union
And I obviously fail to grasp simple English.

I guess correlation doesn't equal correlation? Don't get me wrong the collapse did help the EU, but it was growing in power anyways. It was recovering from the devastation of WW1&2, and those countries have always at one time or another been at the top of the hierarchy.

Another possible trigger could be sour relations with Saudi Arabia and other oil states shifting Europe's focus back to Russia.

Ditching the US for Russia is not worth it I think. The first step I believe is incorporating Russia firmly in the 'Western' sphere like Japan.

The US and Eastern Europe just need to realize that Russia's actions are not exactly these of a rising imperialistic bully. Simple diplomatic solutions will be a lot more successful and must be favoured.

Unfortunately "muh nationalism" is still too popular on both sides of the equation. I recall this Foreign Minister of Poland stating that Ukrainians liberated the Soviet Union. Or the official holodomor story in Ukraine which is still based on one sided poor quality history. Some serious historiography would be welcome in Eastern Europe. Russia on the other hand has good historians but are unfortunately completely ignored by politicians.

>eurasian union with Mongolia but not Turkey

>eurasian union with Mongolia but not Armenia
FTFY

>motivation

Sounds awfully suspect to me, comrade.

Evil minds think of evil things.

It's been tried many times & failed all of them. More likely to see a one world Government than a 'Eurasian Union' imho

put all the russian oligarchs in the Titanic
>3 843 meters under the sea

Well, Russian influence will be high as fuck if/once EU crumbles and if Nato starts to lose nations (Turkey or anyone who doesn't want to pay)

test

ayy lmao invasion.

>union with income disparity
it doesn't even exist and you already want it to fail

Eurozone elite distancing itself from the Atlanteans (London/DC) and forging stronger trading ties and infrastructure investments with China and Russia. A Eurasian trading bloc would dominate the world. But Wall Street and City of London would wage heavy economic warfare against the Eurozone to prevent this.

>It wasn't inconceivable then, but it is now
Putin himself brought a possibility of joining NATO not that long ago

A year ago it was inconceivable for the UK to leave the EU.

That's new for me.
