I think OVK's idea is that the heists are all released in chronological order.

Other than some guessing with the base game heists, you can probably chain all the DLCs in order. The base game heists also have some sort of implied order because some of them are obviously piss-easy tutorial heists (Jew Store) while some expect some semblance of competence (FF).

It's probably actually something like:
- Jew Store
- Base game Vlad heists (I think it's Four Stores -> Mallcrasher -> Nightclub -> UK Job)
- H&Ts and remaining Bain heists
- Base game Elephant and Hector heists, dunno which contractor would come first.
- Then go through the DLCs in release order since none of them go back in time or are flashbacks.

Tell your friends they're stupid because they can't be assed to do the research before going off on their autism.

Also would like to mention that when I say DLC, I meant every single heist that was added to the game after release.

From Election Day and Diamond Store to Biker Heist.

I only make this clarification because I realised that shit like Car Shop and Art Gallery and Cook Off aren't DLCs like Election Day and Shadow Raid which is really, really stupid and inconsistent.

Surprisingly there is here is a story line and a chronological order although it's still vague on the small lines:

>At the beginning, the original crew does all the classic jobs, solve the overdrill mystery and sell the gold to Hector,
>then for some reasons, the gang decide to stay in Washington D.C., Hoxton get arrested by the F.B.I. and get replaced by Houston,
>Gang go from 25 millions job to much smaller ones, trying to please the Elephant, Vlad and Hector in the process,
>Elephant than ask the payday gang to change the course of the elections (it's unknown if the stealth approach, plan B or C was canon)
>than the Dentist manages to approach Dallas and convince the gang to do various favors to him in exchange of helping the gang to free Hoxton,
>in the meantime, they help Gage to empty the murkywater warehouse, traumatizing the mercenaries into pulling out later
>after that arrives the Hoxton arc where for some reasons Clover was here to help the gang in the FBI headquarters despite appearing officially only a few months later,
>Than the Croatian mafia appear with the Butcher trying to jew the payday gang (selling a bow for more than 80k) sending Dragan to keep an eye on the bomb although he decided to stay in D.C., liking the outlaw life there.
>Hoxton and the gang finally catch the traitor, living after this an happy life, helping Vlad becoming a bigger memelord and doing various mindless jobs,

There is also a story about the Commissar Garret and Captain Winter trying to stop the payday gang, following them to Florida which is kinda a time paradox since Winter wasn't there when the crew decided to do this job back in the first game.

Like I said, for everything past the base game, release order is probably chronological order.

You can filter out specific plotlines but even in the voice lines, they make it sound like the heists are as far apart time-wise from each other as they are in real life. e.g. HR doesn't happen immediately after HB or GGC because of all the planning and shit they have to do per heist

And Bain is a slave driver so the gang probably did plenty of heists without Hoxton until they broke him out.

I think we can pretend Winters showing up in the Classic heists is just shit writing for MUH GAMEPLAY FIRST instead of any connection to the lore.

Oh, don't forget the tutorials. Tutorials probably come immediately after the Classics in the timeline. They are probably the only exception to the rule.

Also technically the Safehouse probably comes first, then the tutorials.

I just figured the chronology was easier heists to harder heists unless the game states otherwise like with the Hoxton heists.

Not just RNG. If its anything like the last tourney they did, all the maps available will have fucky spawns, way higher enemy numbers and shortcuts will be walled off. After all, its not like they want to just give away 10k.

why is the community grenade so much better than the DLC grenade???? twice the explosion radius wtf why not make it a reskin for free or 10 dmg less but making it actually much better than the DLC grenade is bullshit

yes and i think its great that now everyone can use grenades but why make the free one twice as good as both dlc grenades (Dynamite and DLC nade both have 5m expl radius) instead of maybe the same or slightly worse (or even slightly better) but twice the expl radius is too much

Cards are worthless, javelins are circumstantial but good when used appropriately (crits can kill a skulldozer in 1 headshot) and shuriken are p gr8.

They can bodyshot Cloakers on DW and can do headshot damage by themselves (aka. Low Blow crits kill Titandozers).

You don't understand, nobody won the last one because nobody finished it. The maps had been modified so you got ten snipers in places you would normally get 2, no cap on the number of specials so you could have 8 cloakers coming at you at a time, walls forcing you to take exposed routes, so on and so forth. This isn't a normal game of deathwish

Well when the alternatives are molotovs, nades, and shurikens, I think they're worthing selecting. Throwables are sall ituational but explosives and molotovs won't be great in many situations where you'd want to throw a javelin to get one special to go away while you're reloading or need to recharge armour.

I know about the special extras they slapped onto the tournament version of Slaughterhouse.

Surprised no-one managed to finish. The yurop record holders were supposed to be at Austin to maintain their champion title.

I'd say they're great for taking out Bulldozers quick when combined with Explosive weapons though, with no skill points needed, or combos with electric melees for quick dispatch of charging Cloakers. Hell, you can even stun a Tazer, throw the stick at him, and not even waste any ammo. They're also decent replacements when you're low on ammo for guns.

You'd think it'd be that simple but you're mistaken. Lua codes are buggy and cause crashes. Actual ingame code is much harder to do. Trust the developers to know what they're doing.
