Either you are trolling or you need to reread what polarized guns do.

You aren't going to be hitting drones with medium guns. Polarized drops your resists to zero, making it a terrible thing to fit on anything but meme fits. If it's a fleet fight, don't fit local repper at all, you won't live long enough to use it anyway. Fit a 1600 plate instead, and replace the rigs with 3x trimark.

If your fleet doesn't bring at least one logi ship, even if it's just a t1, it's not a very good fleet.

In the mids get a prop, scram, cap injector, web
In the highs get drone link augs (optional, depending on what you intend to fight and how) and neuts.

Rigs should be 3x trimark armor pump. Maybe replace 1 with an anti explosive pump to patch up your resist hole.

Drones should be 5 heavies (or sentries, depending), 5 minmatar mediums and 5 ECM hornets.

Some variation is fine, as long as you don't put on polarized guns or something silly like that.

If you want to kill drones, put in a medium smartbomb. But then again, that's as good at killing friendly drones as it is hostile drones, so be careful about it.

Certainly not worth bringing a navy vexor, at any rate.

1 rep on an unbonused T1 ship is bad because it just doesn't accomplish enough. You shouldn't live long enough to make good use of it.
This can be useful in solo, but that's different.

T2-3 ships and ships with bonuses to resists or armor self rep may be able to get away with it, but even then they don't use 1 ordinary rep, they use multiple reps or one oversized rep.

If you want to do an actiev tanked VNI, a dual armor rep 100mn fit with a medium capacitor booster works well. Yuo don't haev much for high slots, I fit 2 small neuts and 2 small nos, but you could also use some autocannons, but a full flight of VNI heavies with 1-2 DDA is plenty of DPS

Another option is going for sentries, then you fit drone range upgrades in highs. Need to fit a sensor booster with range script in mid, though.

Dammit you sound like this is your first fleet fight. You don't fit for cap stability in pvp. Drop the semiconductor rig for anti-exp pump, the cap recharger for cap *injector* and the drone speed mod for warp scrambler.

i got the 10mn AB fitted, and i took off the nosf, and put on a small neut. Combined it should take approximately 9 cycles to deplete the capacitor of a cruiser, less for a frigate.

this IS my first fleet fight. Ive only done incidental PvP when i was fit for PvE. Ill take that advice now. Could i substitute a warp scrambler for a webifier? If mobility is important, its important to slow my target, no?

Scram is more important, it shuts down MWD, MJD and prevents warping. Your drones should have no trouble hitting things that are scrammed.

don't run an expensive gecko in a fleet fight, not worth

the high-slots for a drone boat don't matter so much, maybe you want to go full neuts rather than some piddly guns that won't do much. if you neut the ship that's tackled you, you can break tackle and warp out. 50dps blasters won't help.

For that matter, don't run augmented drones either. Depending on how tight your fitting is, you might be able to squeeze two medium neuts if you swap the AB and 1600 plate for meta (named) versions.

Geckos are 50mil each. Meta shit usually cheaper than T2 stuff which is already cheap as shit. Faction and deadspace mods are where things start getting expensive.

Drop the scram, drop the blasters for railguns, you'd be far more useful if you ruin an orthruses day with a remote dampener and being able to hit out to 40km with spike rather than 5km.
