What is the flashlight useful for?

It can potentially blind a killer, but it never works in my experience.

If you use it on a cloaked wraith it will decloak and stun them.

They've implemented some sort of system that matches you with people of similar rank, right? I'm rank 18 survivor and get a bunch of rank 20 level 3 teammates, but I'm a rank 13 killer despite not even being very good and I'm getting level 30 rank 13s everywhere.

It does cause killers to drop victims but that's hard to pull off since you have to have the beam exactly on their face for like 1.5s.

It's really easy to avoid and you're better off not wasting your time, even against cloaked wraiths.

It's like 5 seconds or whatever. There's a perk that'll reduce it by up to 3 seconds.

Lmao just got to rank 16 just by playing wraith lvl1 (i level up my hillbilly instead) and doing the bloodpoint exploit, even when i camp everyone i hook and spam the bell i always manage to kill atleast 3 survivors. This game is easy

Claudette is best. After that it's debatable whether Jake or Meg get second place. Dwight is the worst.

With enough work and leveling multiple characters you can get the perks on anyone rendering it purely cosmetic, but it takes a lot of work.

It depends on what type of playing you like to prefer, but either way Meg and Claudette are the top two.

>Claudette gets self healing
>Jake gets sabotage w/o toolbox
>Dwight gets buffs with teammates

So usually, it goes

Meg/Claudette ---> Jake ---> Dwight

Go with Meg then Claud if you have trouble escaping baddies, and Claud then Meg if you can disappear fine enough.

Dwight does have the POTENTIAL to be devastating, if there are multiple with the perk that speeds up gennies. But due to the nature of the game, this is almost never the case.

I have a vajoo, so that sounds very appealing to me. Mixing work and pleasure.

The plan is to uncloak when they dash for the hookie, so they can get them down, and THEN I can hit them again and re-hook them for more points! And a faster hooking sometimes.

On my regular character I already have Iron grasp 3 Insidious 3 and Agitation 3. There's other level 3 perks I have but those make it so I can just take someone to the basement literally anywhere on the map. I really fucking want the cosmetic shit for the Trapper though, what do I do?

You can dump points into trapper while playing something else if you're just bad at trapper.

why does killer queue take so fucking long? i have legit never gotten to play killer so far.

Killer is only easy if the survivors aren't of a similar mind. If they run in single file to save a hooked person, killer wins. If they all show up at once and once distracts while the others unhook and heal the guy, then you have trouble on your hands as a killer.

If they all work on generators and know to only mostly power them up and save the finishing touch for later, you're downright fucked.

There seems to be some sort of system where once you host a lobby, you cannot receive players and need to wait for your turn. You're going to need to sit there for a few minutes, generally around 3 in my experience.

Has anyone else played with this killer? I've had three matches with him so far, two of which were in a row. Basically, he's some shitty rank 20 with a bunch of ultra rare perks and items, and rq's within the first few minutes every match. I have no idea why or what the deal with him is, but it's becoming a pain in the ass. I looked up his profile and sure enough, he's some autistic MLP/Five Nights at Freddy's faggot.
Is it worth reporting him on the forums? Are we allowed to do that? I've screenshotted every match so I've definitely got a case.

He's obviously a savescumming faggot so just block him and hope that prevents you from being matched with him. I don't know why he would leave if he's a shitty rank 20, he doesn't lose anything except more bloodpoints.
