Imagine a factory has suddenly lost all ability to produce -items-. They find a way to continue making a fraction of what they were for the time being. How do I convey that?

"Desperate to maintain production" just doesn't sound good enough, and "maintain" implies they're back to working full efficiency. That's not appropriate.
I keep thinking of the word "throughput" but it just sounds too out of place.

How can I convey "Keep things going" more articulately?

I think Reinhardt has a great comic. Really gives his character more character. He has a really "fight to the end" feel. I enjoyed soldier 76s animated short. A lot. I love that vigilante feel.

I really disliked widow makers animated short though. It didn't really flesh her character out more. I already understood she is a cold blooded killer.
