Burn BB's down, distract them from shooting your allies. Shoot DD's.
You still use your torps, but you don't rely entirely on them. Using your guns help you get more XP than if you relied entirely on being stealthy.

the jap DD's died with the minekaze which is far better than the mutsuki. The hatsuharu is the same thing as a mutsuki with a 5th gun which you give up later on anyway. Its shit. The torps take way too long to reload even with the extra skills
What happened?
Since WG hasn't put a spectator mode in their game yet, the streamers have to get in ships and die so they can view other ships at will. One streamer's ship spawned really far away from the rest of his team, so he had to have a guy come over and kill him, which wasted that team's time, and WG called a rematch once they saw it on the stream (five minute delay and all).

Mejash (the streamer for the KANTAI side) spawned soooooo far away from the KANTAI team that he had to steam towards the rest of the team and KANTAI had to pull off one destroyer for a few minutes just to kill him. You can see how this is a problem in a Domination mode with literally identical team composition.
There was a large delay between that and when the game was called off because of the stream delay and the organizers are actually following the stream because lol no spectator mode.

Because WG is incompetent and don't have spectator mode in the game. So someone has to join the team and die so they can jump around and follow other ships.
