Long story short, different inhabited worlds and dimensions exist in that universe and Humans came to that world around 1500 years ago after their own got fucked during a dimensional rift called Conjunction of the Spheres.
There are hints that the Conjunction was actually caused by humans themselves and there are speculations that this was a work of technology, not magic, as humans only learned about magic after they came to this world.
So, yeah, something like a Type I Kardashev Scale civilization, really fucking things up for themselves, hastily evacuating their planet through very, VERY destructive teleport, technologically regressing back into Iron Age, but this time with added benefit of magic aaaaand not so much of a benefit of infesting their new world with all kinds of alien monsters. ....

I beat the game on Death March over a year ago and decided to make a completely new playthrough for HoS and B&W. Are there any places below level 10 or so to grind XP?
