They had plenty of time to make a more appealing trailer and while things seem like a step up it's not enough to do a full 180.
I'm hoping that the gameplay is shown is just early levels and that the game does get more interesting and creative down the line

Yeah, this. When I was binging through Yokai Watch I'd just go to the actual general whenever I had a question.

I think the problem is that our thread has no "authority" on anything. You can go to Vita or PS4 gen and they'll tell you everything about a new upcoming release, whether it's worth buying or not, post screenshots and all kinds of stuff.

We don't even do the latter anymore, even when Twilight Princess HD was released there was no urge to post about it, it took months later with Gor randomly posting his playthrough that any discussion came from it's release (Keep up the great work with that btw Gor)

I enjoy having a catch-all thread for Nintendo but all those obsessive threads based on a singular game, yet still have the same small group of people posting in them, really do hurt the practicality of /nintyg/. I could see Federation Force having a niche following on /nintyg/ though since I doubt the interest is there for an entire thread, and we were pretty good about Triforce Heroes games. Till this day I think that's the only game we ever collectively played as a group.
