The "ram an enemy into the ground and use it as pole to swing" is also a shared skill between chars. The kicker is that everyone uses the exact same animations

Gameplay's fun but there's little that's remarkable about it. Something about its presentation is just really lacking.

Maybe Uppers would've been a better game if there wasn't any focus on fan service? The character designs are top notch and on par with King of Fighters. The concepts like punching people into helicopters and through walls are cool too, but for whatever reason don't have much weight to them.

Game's near the end of its dev cycle but it still has lots that can be improved upon, like characters sharing too many moves and sound not matching the intensity of the fights.

There probably won't be an Uppers 2 but a lot of the game could be improved with a PS4 version.

Which senran do you enjoy playing as the most and why?

Shiki's moveset feels quite different when transformed when compared to her normal moveset, which I find fun.

I usually don't like hard hitters, but Hanabi just feels satisfying for me to use.
Her flash mode has a quick distance combo for an aerial rave and her breach art cover a good amount of ground.

Shiki and Hikage are also satisfying to me.

Miyabi's been one of my favorites to play in both Versus games.
I also like Hanabi, Yoza and Dai, the charged hitters are fun to mow through mobs with, and Hanabi's one of my favorites for online with her spin2win breach and using her fireworks tosses in flash mode.
I wish I like'd EV's Haruka more but there's a few things that stop me from loving her, like her recovery attack and breach art.

If you ask me, is the whole "Cheerleader" what is dragging the whole game down. Having so many characters on the screen is eating all the resources from the Vita, shitting all over the rest of the game.
