The thread would be just fine without 50-post ellipses conversations between Awena and other shitposters, "post cattes" replies, or rocklizard. Just to list a few examples. Similarly the thread could do without meme teme inside jokes, chain quoting and other chemo posts (or pasta), even though those posts do not always contain pictures of avatars.
Unfortunately, you can't count on other people to be considerate and act appropriately for the benefit of all. Just like you can't count on a DF healer to DPS and speed up the run, or a DF ninja to not doton single targets.
You can complain about it or stoically try to do your best to improve things for the good citizens of this board. Fighting an unwinnable battle against lonely people searching for validation on the Internet is not the best use of your time and energy, and achieves nothing for the silent majority.
