Also one has a bigger playerbase while the other still low.
They are both shit but even if they dont pretend like overkill it doesnt mean they fucked up big time, plus how the fuck you want to get charged for sharpshooter if its a basic thing promised before RELEASE which the game still hasnt. Its a fucking early acces and even if I got it for free because of a friend a fucking feel scammed. Also adding micros to cash in instead of making the updates happen fast didnt help a single bit.

Because nobody bothers to learn the game in single player before going out and trashing everybody else's lobbies.

This brings up another point that Tripwire didn't try and pretend their game could be called "finished" at release. Unlike Overkill. Overkill would've charged for Sharpshooter. They would've charged for Gunslinger too. Knowing Overkill, they'd probably cut the DLCs in half.

It's kind of comforting knowing no matter how bad a developer does something, Overkill would've done it worse.

Found the best setup for this patch: sentries, frenzerker, ictv, maniac, with ak.762 with dmr kit and quad stacked mag. You can deploy sentries with 1-2 bullets out of your primary and 6 sentries keep maniac constantly stacked. Frenzerker+ictv gives you 500+ effective armor and with full maniac stacks you take zero damage from most enemies.

Tripware already had a decent playerbase and most of them got burned from waiting months for updates, then in one of them you bring the most cancerous thing in any game, micros.

It doesnt really matter who is worse, is which one of those 2 actually knew even if they got fucked it wouldnt hurt that much, and that one isnt tripware. As much I would like to play killing floor 2, is just one of my ghost games in my backlog. Also overkill did most of the time 75% sale and shit also free weekends or weeks. As fucked up as it sound, overkill did a better job selling their game while tripware needs to do something big to get some attention.

i've noticed there is yet another character in the team, are they really keeping it that way?

He's nowhere near being the last new character, but something tells me all the extras will get scrapped for PD3, if that ever happens.

Payday 2 skills have had a complete overhaul a good bit has changed. Just fucking download it, and check it out.
