Would it be possible to mod battles in EUIV so that armies are far less likely to have a broken retreat and instead perish under most circumstances?
Battles as they are currently in the game feel almost irrelevant to the outcome of any war as any defeated army just comes back two months later at full strength and it makes defeating powerful nations as small ones almost impossible.

Hey senpai. You may remember me from a few threads ago. It's 1954 and the Netherlands has been sucked into Allies vs. (Axis and Comintern). I plan to finish this game tonight.

So far:

Military Casualties:
Axis Casualties: 42.68 million.
Allied Casualties: 30.996 million.
Comintern Casualties: 10.847 million.

Civilian Casualties are probably around double the military casualties according to actual WW2 figures, so let's say 170 million.

That's 11.07% of the world's population, compared to WW2's actual 3%.

For the Netherlands in particular, I'm at 0 manpower and I'm using scraping the barrel, so that means a quarter of the population is dead _not including civilian deaths_ (although there will be proportionately less of those, because by Scraping the Barrel I turn civilian deaths into military deaths).
