Hmm, gameplay-wise might be a bit hard to pull off. Obvious thing would be to always stay at the minimum equip load for going fast.

As far as weapons go, you probably wanna go for a quick mainhand with a shield or other tool to parry in off-hand. Or any MH you like really, hell, get a hammer and two-hand if for that Kirkhammer vibe. Pyromancy flame with mist pyromancies if you wanna mimic the Rosmarinus/Flamesprayer.

Honestly, I'd say as long as you keep up the minimum equip weight and don't rely on shit like shields or heavy armour, you should be golden.

Minimum equip load, a lot of dex weapons for the speed of attack, and Leonhardt's armour set which is literally Bloodborne armour.

I'm starting to appreciate Nightmare Frontier more. On subsequent NG cycles there's no reason to go there, but on a new game the area is where all the good shit at. Twin shards, chuncks, all the good main game runes.

What gems should I aim for the Amygdala Arm?

I have 50 str, not gotten into Chalices yet. Will I benefit more from phys% up or nourishing atk% up gems? I plan to also level arcane up to 99 but don't know if the arcane scaling would even be relevant enough for that.

Always phys% up, the arcane scaling on that thing is awful, just ignore it and focus on strength.

Is Lone Survivor or Professional better for a skill build?

Professional, at least in my opinion, that's what I chose for my Skill character

Something like this. I wasn't sure about just going pure END after getting 50 vit 50 skill but I think that might be the case since there's nothing better for it.

R E M I N D E R

Generally speaking, Professional is the way to go. Twelve endurance is all you really need, and that means you can get to meta level stats by level like 80.

You should use a regular hunter pistol for parry attempts. Repeating pistol should be used for damage in PvP and against bosses with weak heads. You can only carry 10 BMA, and BMA buffs both of a repeating pistol's bullets.

Putting a couple of points into bloodtinge for access to the Reiterpallasch would be a good idea, I think. Its bullets get damage scaling with physical damage, so you don't need to invest very much in bloodtinge to get decent bullet damage, and then you can put a shield in your offhand and still be able to parry.

Also, don't bother putting much into endurance. It's a luxury stat, and especially as a skill build your weapons use borderline no stamina, with the exception of the Burial Blade if you like that. 15 endurance is really the upper end of what a skill build could ever need.

You asked for it

End works well on a SKL build as a dump stat because the Rakuyo is stamina hungry, and you dash around and attack constantly to make the most out of the Rakuyo.
