How to make automated power switch in Factorio, now that they added power switch to it, kinda between solar/accumulators and steam engines

combinators and comparators.

make an algorithm to read accumulator level, and if it falls below quota switch turns the steam engines on

if you feel like being funny you can create triggering mechanism based on how fast your accumulators are being drained.

Well Bobs overhaul is already ported so you could say there will be new things every day.

I don't like it, or any other big overhauls. I think the game is really good as is and a few quality of life/vanilla+ mods make it shine. The "biggest" mod I use is VanillaEx.

I have radars near every section of track, and small radar clusters on the edges of the island. The entire southern part of the island is actually secure, it's just hard to see. I haven't dismantled the wall there yet.

I did a course on the electric area on my teen days, loved electronics class, we had to make a power supply once, but my group was a piece of a shit and we paid for someone else to build it for us, it was only downhill from there, now I am on a completely different area.
