Patrician Art

PATRICIAN ART ONLY.

Ancient, Medieval, Byzantine, Renaissance, Academic, Modern, Post-modern, anything goes just so long as it is patrician.

That means NO Ilya Plebin, Caspar David Plebrich, Pleb-Raphaelites, Implebionism, etc.

What's wrong with Friedrich?

Nothing really just that one painting gets posted too often.

Nice.

Literally just a big spent dick center-frame.

Why is Osprey so perfect?

Ha! With St. Anthony in the back.

Poor guy's envious. Folly, given the gonorrhea. I like it.

Can you tell me why you think these paintings are "patrician"?
I'm genuinely curious.

Incredible exploration of color, surface, spatial relationships and the rectangle, as well as the relationship between abstraction and representation. Most of those are paintings of public parks.

They're playful and extremely engaging visually, offer a glimpse into both the thought process and the process of their creation while still working on a pictorial level.
