There's a lot more than models and textures, just as AA is a lot more than models and textures over vanilla. Gunplay is very different, new guns, AA merges in a bunch of small Russian mods, etc.

No. I have no idea on how to mod and I'd rather use the spare time I have that I dedicate to playing games to actually play games.

AA has no bullet drop or at least no noticeable bullet drop. On the other hand it makes pistols useful, arguably OP.

AA bumps weapon ranges to about double vanilla or AMK. AMK Arsenal makes them about 5-6x as long, larger than entire maps, and does it selectively, leaving some weapons at vanilla values for true chaos. AA is consistent, but as you say arguably OP pistols and SMGs.

OLR's scripts/ folder was untranslated till TKGP machine translated them for the 0.9.2 translation. Merging a machine translation by hand is silly work, hopefully he's around to rerun the machine translation on the updated scripts folder.

i got the urge to revisit chernobyl i finished all three games multiple times but i only ever played pure vanilla without any mods.

I finally died on my Ironman Loner so i'll take this occasion.

How do you add silencers to weapons in OWR for CoP? I cant figure out how to add a 9mm silencer to either a normal Makarov or honorary Makarov.

You open up the configs of other weapons and look at how it's done? In vanilla it was a matter of changing silencer status from 0 to 1, but I assume OWR uses different silencers for different calibres, so you must specify the type somewhere.

These are the kind of retards on /v/ STALKER generals who'd always tell you to raise that one AI bullet distance value. They said it decreased the "RNG" from whether or not a bullet at a certain distance would hit an enemy, when really it was the AIs hit probability, and raising it to whatever crazy value they said let enemies have perfect aim and instakill you with a TOZ 34 across the map.

I dont know how to add it in game. I tried dragging and dropping, double clicking, checked the mechanics modification menu. I dont know if I need another tool to add it on or what.
OWR3 uses different calibers per silencer but at least the normal Makarov should take a 9mm silencer and it's tooltip says so.
I have no other caliber silencer to try to see if theres a problem with the xmls.

I initially installed it over CoP because that's the folde rthe installer pointed to as default and never had any problems. I've since uninstalled it and installed it at it's own folder and didn't notice any difference.
