I do believe with just mods alone you can get the dame up to 20-25(might actually might be around 30) and with HG and BM maxed out while hopped up on drugs you could get decent damage

I dropped the three contraption dlc files in my directory, activated it in NMM. It doesn't appear in the dlc section of the main menu but i have some new objects in the settlement view. How can i be sure the mod is really on?I didn't find the machines and stuff.

Maybe you get touched by enough Radiation going into the Vault that you become a ghoul. I would also like at least partial mutation giving you new weapons, like claws.

All the factions have the never-ending missions, but most of them besides the min men have actual interesting missions. The min men feel like a cheap excuse to impliment the settlement mechanic

You don't have to have lots of settlements. Just the bare minimum to bring that balloon down.

Minutemen could have been decent. Flesh out the storyline and separate it from the settlement system. Settlements should be completely optional. Add Gunners to oppose the Minutemen philosophically and physically.

The Castle is objectively a bad settlement, especially when Spectacle Island is just offshore and has far more potential.
