AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I win again Todd! While I was pulling the moon files from steam, I fished around in the Vigilant files and found the original Japanese readme. Vicn links to a set of instructions there for installing and configuring Fuz Ro D'oh different from anything I've seen. It involved deleting and renaming some fuz files. So I did that, let the moon files finish downloading, stashed them away so I have them next time I need them, and dumped my backed up English ones back in to try the edit to silent voices I made. I can read the runes now without changing everything else!
Question for the thread now that I'm ready to start playing. My party is currently made up of 4 people: the Hero who will remain anonymous, Bee-V, Ilx, and Arurun. Ilx isn't really suited to a quest line about killing the undead, being a conjurer and all. Should I keep her for Oblivion style irony or boot her and go pick up Queen Silver? Now watch the dungeons in the mod aren't navmeshed and I have to fire everybody.
She's a little short and the character in the center is tall. Perspective might play a role too.
I'm going to write about Vigilant as I go along. Pretty sure chapters beyond the first aren't translated into English so this should be interesting.
