That they do, but
a) one of those is Hardmode exclusive
b) I don't have the Flying Fish yet
c) I personally don't think it would look particularly good with the rest of the building

I only use resources i have available to me atm. I don't spawn in items, and i'm still in pre-hardmode.

How good is RPGMod at bringing new life to the game?

Somewhat good.
The speed of Explorer is really nice for early game and refreshing throughout, though your damage isn't great.

Everybody is modding their game and trying various things to breathe new life into the game

And i'm just sitting here on my 472nd hour, still in pre-hardmode, having a fucking blast.

I've only killed the bosses up to, and including, Golem, and only once. The fact that i have so much 1.3 content i haven't touched tingles me greatly.

I wish you good fortune in squeezing more fun out of the game.

Explorer's great for people who like to build though.

Terraria works better as a building game for people who have the talent to build/will to learn to build nice things
Starbound's different, it's much more thematic in it's building, you can't really get away with combining a lot of different blocks in a building, it's built more as an adventure game than Terraria is

Just assuming that you're not a veteran, since you asked this question, if you're playing solo and you find yourself dying too much, just get warding, and work on your dodging until you barely take damage. Then you can start going full out.
Fun = Not dying

Someone did like an experiment comparing lucky and menacing a while back....

For mages lucky is better in hardmode, menacing pre-hardmode.

For rangers, lucky becomes the better choice when you get access to stealth mechanics (shroomite armor), otherwise menacing will be the best.

You'll just have to start farming vertebrae or start fishing, depending on why you're breaking them in the first place.

I installed tmodloader and aside from resetting all my settings, it's not showing me my worlds and characters again. Why is that?

Tmodloader has an exclusive save location.

Your vanilla and modded characters are saved in separate folders
They should be somewhere in your documents

the modloader uses a different set of characters and worlds than terraria. If you want to get your characters back you have to uninstall tmodloader, by verifying integrity of game cache on steam.

Making a Skeletron arena and fishing up sky chests.

Defeating a boss for the first go on a character levels him up and adds stats for the class, so it's cool to come replay bosses and ask others to reroll as well. I got molten on a Demon, and now I'm gearing an Explorer.

If I break some Crimson Hearts, and Magic Mirror to a spawn point that is located in the Crimson, will the Brain despawn?

Probably, but then again I never trust bosses and anything dealing with teleportation.

Like said, it depends on the distance. Once when fighting the Eater of Worlds I built an arena right on top of a Corruption chasm, with a bed up there as my spawn point. I went down the chasm, broke an orb, and mirrored back to the bed above, and it worked fine. If you're teleporting to a Corruption/Crimson biome on the other side of your world, it probably won't work, though.

what kind of armor should i have to fight the eye of cythlu? i found his summoning item. this is my first boss im scared. i have platinum armor and lead greieves and silver helmet.

Any ranged weapon, even Enchanted sword projectile will do.

It doesn't really matter with the first tiers of armor, but try to make sure you're wearing all pieces from the same set. You'll get some bonus stats that way.

Titanium/Adamantite armor.

This, you most likely will have enough crates/silt/slush to get that set as soon as Hardmode kicks in. Always keep plenty of silt/slush/fossils in stock.

Weapon wise, it is easier to get the Phasesaber if you can find a Hallow Biome quickly enough to at least carry yourself through if you can't get enough Adamantite/Titanium.
