How have you modified your vehicle? (includes minutiae)

Can be as simple as changing the brand of your windshield wipers.

new radio and speakers

i recently upgraded from OEM brake pads to Duralast Titanium Dick-Hardening Supreme Sponsored By NASCAR Magnaflow Stop-Your-Shit Platinums. my car stops pretty good now

Longtube headers + ORY pipe
Also painted my calipers
short throw shifter

>head unit with bt-handsfree
>speakers all around + amplifier
>subwoofers are coming back this summer
>all but driving lights, high-beams and fogs in front are LED instead of filament-shit
>interior LEDs also
>footwell lighting

Those I guess are the most noteworthy, going to have soundproofing in the summer and some brakepads and rotors in all sides redone, maybe look into new bearings and suspension too, we'll see.

Haha weed :3

I took some parts off and replaced them with different parts

2 cars ago (1996 Dodge Intrepid)

Removed stupid piece in air intake hose

previous car (2003 VW Passat)

Headlights replaced (Osram Silverstars)
PhatBox Mp3 player (including custom brackets)
Interior lights replaced with blue LEDs
Wheels from friend's wrecked 2005 Passat

Current Car (2010 Audi A4)

GIAC XPlus ECU software (aka chipped)
Cold-air intake (custom built by tuner shop)
Akebono European brake bads, Zimmerman rotors

I replaced my duralast titanium semi metallic supreme deathstoppers with some ceramic shoes from Motorcraft that were designed for my car.
Stops way better now.
>OEM because I'm a freak
>also the specs are way better than the aftermarket ones, which is usually the case and ricers don't recognize this.
>this is why you don't but a modified car ever

Different wheels
Larger tires
Suspension lift with new shocks struts and springs
Changed soft top to hard top (had to make a couple changes to rear wire harness to adapt the older hard top to the newer rear defrost circuit, totally reversible, used a junkyard defroster/tail light harness to make the adaptor)
New radio and speakers because the originals died.

All that stuff was easy peasy compared to the repair body work I had to do. Cutting and replacing a rear quarter panel plus paint work.

Currently waiting on
New steel bumper
New external fog lights

I've put stuff in it, set up the stereo, and fucked about with settings. Otherwise, it works just fine and doesn't have a need for any modifications I can install/afford.

Replaced 2 year+ old wipers
Glued the shift pattern back onto the gearstick
Replaced the heating valve as it would only blow hot before
Used an anti-rust around the fuel cap and painted over the result

Nice

Wheels. Stock car came with 15 inch steelies.
Completely unnecessary, uncomfortable and bad for handling.
I put on 14 inch alloy wheels with a cheaper tyre size and haven't looked back

that is officially that gayest gearstick gaiter i have ever seen mate congrats

New Stereo head and a couple WAT stickers for the +HP

>gearstick gaiter
wat. I get you're not from 'round here, but calling it a gearstick gaiter makes all shift boots sound gay as AIDS.

>jessie clearly visible
>gay

what in the hell is wrong with you?

swapped slant 6 to 360
moved fuel tank over to fit dual exhaust
swapped 904 to 727 then to 4 speed
7.25 rear end to 8.75 with 3.91's
solid K frame spacers
painted it from white to black

Oh god here we go, moostang time

Help

Looks like another bolt on bandit is going to try to take on Bromaro, half way there

'boots' are plastic things that go around CV joints or steering racks, a gaiter is a fine piece of engineering that sets off the interior design of a car, commonly made from the finest British suede or leather.

>bolt on bandit
I like

To be fair, the S197 suspension is pretty meh from the factory and the MT82 is atrocious at high RPM, so applying these little 'fixes' has been fun.

>AUX input
>Brighter tail bulbs
>Valve cover color
>Exhaust wrap
>Poly engine mounts
>Upper front strut bar
That's really it so far. I want to do the exhaust and put some mud flaps on just because ricy rally style.

Embedded a wireless phone charger in the top tray in the center console.

Swapped my cigarette lighter for a USB power outlet.

installed rallyarmor urethane mudflaps because fuck winter and expanding frost tearing up the stock plastic ones.

redded out my tails (stock chrome "altezza lights" not doing it for me) and plastidipped the bottom of the rear bumper for a sort of diffuser-ish look.

bought a tailored-for-this-model, easy washable PVC trunk liner from a company called "Hatchbag" in order to keep the trunk from getting dirty and gross

Installed a 12V led-bar from IKEA called "LEDBERG" in the ceiling to see the trunk better at night.

Installed a DEFA engine heater and cabin heater for those cold winter days when you wanna feel cozy from the start,

Made custom instrument cluster with microcontroller and RGB leds-

Removed the stock 4 speed HVAC fan "resistor pack" bullshit, modified the switch and put in a 12v PWM motor controller so the speed is completely variable-

Made my own custom metal short throw shifter (Same height) because the throw in 5th and reverse is so long you hit the passengers knees-

Custom made heim joint adjustable panhard rod-

Koni adjustable red shocks-

Custom fiberglass battery box that fits in a hole I cut out in the false floor in the hatch area-

Newer, better ECU-

water/meth injection on the cheap-

Ignition barrel died and costs way too goddamn much to fix, so I replaced the ignition barrel with a small momentary button with a backlit ring around it.

Ignition system is now 3 latching relays with hidden kill switches.

also have this roof rack, but it's more of a sometimes necessary accessory than a modification.

removed my 'fiesta' badge this weekend

It's still a Fiesta

okay? I'm not hiding that, I just hated the goofy font
