I'm setting up my skyrim again after a long hiatus and I've run into a problem; whenever I look even remotely at an indoor light source, the entirety of the screen becomes uniformly lighter (pic related). anyone have any past experience with this problem?

I would just like to remind everyone, once again, that Restoration is indeed an invalid school of magic. It is absolutely unworthy of research, agreed with by the many notes I've had left in my bed by fellow professors and my students. And my desk. And on occasion, my bed again. Anyone suggesting that Restoration is better left to the priests of the Temples, I think, has a perfect understanding on the capabilities of this magic.

Firstly, the ability to repel the undead is easily dismissible. Skyrim is well known to be full of these... Draugr, ancient Nord warriors who cannot find peace. I submit that everyone in this College has, at one time or another, overlooked all of the Restoration spells that struggle to keep them at bay in favor of more useful magic, such as those in the school of Destruction.

Secondly, does anyone even remember to use wards? They have become inessential to any mage working in dangerous situations. They will never be counted upon as much as Candlelight, or Invisibility. But more importantly, wards have never saved lives. This is a simple fact. Every mage in this College only uses wards during practice, so as to avoid physical harm from the more useful and potent schools of magic. I truly hope that these points actually sink in, and that more care and thought is given to this subject in the future. Thank you.
