FIRST FOR FREEDOM

SECOND FOR MISERY SUCKS

THIRD FOR PURIST KEKS

THIRD FOR OP FORGETTING AN IMAGE AND BEING A FAGGOT

sh-shut up

Good job user!

Why are the prices so goddamn high? It's nuts, I feel like all the prices are out of whack. Sid is charging 12k for a Sunrise suit

Don't ask me, ask the modders.

>Wormwood
>polished vanilla storyline
>Wormwood introduces many, many non-vanilla features that disqualifies it as anything but an overhaul
:^)

is coc's AI still fucked?

>Misery 2.2 still isn't fucking out yet
REEEEEEE. HURRY UP YOU FUCKS.

I'm more upset that they've said so little about why its taking long (officially).
If an update was put out saying "A lot of the team has life stuff do deal with" I'd be fine.

Or it could be about that one guy still working on the last feature (if thats still a thing).

I was half expecting it to release on Chernobyl's birthday back in April, but nope, not the case.

Wonder if it'll be done by the end of the summer

I hope so.

Alright fellas, I'm going to start Clear Sky. What mods should I install

Either SRP or the AO+SRP merge.

I haven't played Misery since 1.x but I guess I'll wait for 2.2 now.

>one guy still working on the last feature
Yeah I remember something about they having just this one guy coding the dismantle/repair system and that's what was holding them back as everything else was ready.

Didn't they start selling a card deck based on "your favorite disaster" back then?

Or was that just a ebin meme image like the "how do I survive in this missouri" one

It was a gofundme/kickstarter thing for the cards if I remember correctly.

Surviving a hell on earth is not a meme you casual!

So I'm playing Call of Chernobyl.

Anyone else have problems with bodies disappearing in the heavy grass? And why does the military copter stalk me wherever I go?

Turn down the grass

Ah, thanks. I just turned all graphics to max, so yeah it was maxed.

Reposting from last thread for curiousity

Post your favorite track from Radios Galore

Don't worry, I won't judge, especially since I'm the one that put them in RG in the first place.

As for me, I'm torn between this one
youtube.com/watch?v=lW46h-evD8E
and this one
youtube.com/watch?v=Ivcp-O9p3kM

I clicked it on the moddb thread and bunch of code popped up, I'm not a modder... Please telle me howe...

>FoV changer was removed from SoC repo
for what reason

I think it's included in the starter pack, don't quote me on that though

OGSE is now called OGSR
RtL hasnt been released yet.

Now take a screenshot and add a crap ton of funny reaction images.

>RtL hasnt been released yet
Yes it has. It was 'de-released' for some god awful reason.

Kill yourselves. No, really.

The arguments won't stop either way.

Someone needs to protect the innocent rookies from it.

Fuck off to /k/, will ya? There people will at least fall for it.

you wot m8? looks like crap anyways

Is the empty pistol reload sounds for STCoP broken? I'm getting a CTD related to the sig220_empty.ogg file

To make sure: you're playing CoC, right?
Anyway, can you post the log?

Can I repair my gear in RMA?

yep riding the cock
yes i have cock saved to my downloads folder it's a fucking mess

This simply means it's missing. Either it was deleted for some reason, or the package doesn't come with it. Anyway, just get some other ogg to replace it, any will do. Try to find the real one in AO or other STCoP packages first, though.

Is that one of the Duga radars?

That is the Brain Scorcher, yes.

Seems like the original sig220_reload is actually the empty reload sound, so i just duplicated it and cut it up in audacity.

If you're playing RMA Autumn Edition, yes. I know the barman can.

Sid can as well, I just found out

Is there a single mod that does stealth even remotely viable? I'm tired of being spotted from behind/inside bushes before even seeing anyone, playing CoC in the marshes is fucking irritating. Running luminosity factor at 0.8 and transparency threshold at 0.7 and I get spotted by shitty bandits while behind 3 fucking bushes.

I just want to fucking sneak and get the drop on people every once in a while. Fucking piece of shit.

LURK 1.0.5 is for you.

Maybe they heard you running around or moving through the bushes, and got alerted

>transparency threshold at 0.7

Nope. Circled around their outpost (which is surrounded by bushes) with low crouch, making absolutely no noise. Got spotted before I could even get into the nearest bush in the back entrance. They weren't alerted prior to my arrival either.

The higher the value, the harded it is for them to see you though things.

Can you actually fully open the door back to the hologram room?

They can hear you moving through those bushes like that.

Never mind, I somehow did it.

The bushes always make the same sound no matter what speed I'm moving when I walk into them.

Yeah, it's called vanilla.

You can't expect to walk through bushes and not be detected. Avoid them and pay attention to patrol routes. It's easy to be stealthy in stalker, you just need to be very careful and patient.

Does anyone like Misery? Whenever I mention it everyone whines about how insanely unfair it is.
I hit a wall where I need a hazmat suit to do any mission and artifacts should be worth more than 2K rubles.
Also I'm tired of the stutter from the AI life threshold.

If you have a good computer, set the switch distance to something insane. This will take care of stutter. As for cash, it's more profitable to farm bandits or mutants, especially as a sniper. Artifacts suck and are worth nothing, but there are fixes that remedy that. Make sure to "sell" them through beards quests, if you can.

i liked some things about it

but mostly no.

That's a great way to make everything kill each other before you even get close.

And a great way to make even more money.

Might as well just spawn it in at that point.

Why would you ruin the definitive scavenging experience?

Don't worry about artifact hunting too much, unless it's the anomalies with just physical/radiation damage.
Looting every living organism you see is the best way to make money.

getting this crash when talking to the bar mechanic with STCoP, Radios Galore, and Outfit Mod. I really want to like this more than AO3, but it seems so much buggier.

Yeah, and hostile stalkers can hear you moving through those bushes and become alerted to your presence. Is that so hard to understand?

Bush sounds are bullshit in general.

Alright fuckers I'm trying LURK 1.05

This better be good

The moving through bushes sounds should be lower when you're crouching, walking or low crouching, not the same as if you're running.

Isn't 1.1 better? at least, i heard it fixed some bugs/issues.

Also fix the bloom settings when you play, and be ready for no artifact usage.

Shilling in the last thread got to me
Just downloaded Misery 2.1.1

what patch are you using?

i see bar_visitors_stalker_mechanic_drink_1
in
gamedata\configs\gameplay\character_desc_bar.xml
and
dialogs_bar.xml
in the 1.4 rc 4.1 patch

did you use the 1.4 patch for stcop included with the outfit mod??

i thought radios galore wasnt compatible with 1.4 (all.spawn)

i'm on 1.3.2

Use TAZ, it makes the guns go from "meh" to "okay"

well that isn't possible unless you've installed 1.4 rc4.1 patch

as bar_visitors_stalker_mechanic_drink_1
doesnt exist anywhere else
not in the outfit addon mod, not in radios galore, and not in stcop 0.9, or the 1.3.2 patch

i assume this is the one you are using
moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/outfit-addon-coc

Thanks, downloading it now.

also i should mention that that line only exists in the "vanilla" part of the 1.4 patch.
