I like his personality and I find his struggle and flaws more interesting then a lot of other characters stuff.

Also everything about new home and his boss fight is awesome, I love his theme song, and he made me cry and that's pretty much the best way to make me like a character.

from the two chapters I read it's definitely not for me, Chara is away too out of character. it's one thing to have your own interpretation, it's another to dismiss the way chara felt about the dreemurrs. It's like revealing the hither to unknown fact that undyne hates alphys.

I've answered this with a lot more detail, but basically Toriel has had me experience a wide spectrum of emotions for her. Mainly love and a bittersweet sadness. There's just something specifically there for me.

Giygas isn't a(n Undertale) monster, so LV wouldn't do anything to him, but Chara can turn back time. Unless this is Pacifist Route Chara we're talking about, I can only see this ending in a draw.

even if it didn't, TP asriel has the explicit power of beyond his form with just chara's soul. A form that was stated to be able to kill a bunch of humans attacking him. With that in mind, Frisk/chara on pacifist route faces him and wins. that's not a small feat done by an ordinary child. Determination and emotions are clearly a kind of tangible strength for the protagonist in UT, so even without any love it's not inconcievable for a human at LV one to fight a non UT monster. Chara/Frisk's durability and determination is without question in excess of their peers.

Papyrus because he went against all my expectations, turned out to be a surprisingly sweet and supportive friend, has some of the funniest moments in the game, and has a flair for the theatrical without crossing too far into narcissistic territory. It was refreshing to see a self-absorbed character that is genuinely kindhearted.

The guy desperately wants approval and acknowledgement. I have a soft spot for characters like that.

For me learning to let go was learning about chara. The ending between flowey and Chara after TP... it's not great but it's better than flowey being alone.
