I was expecting that too, but maybe that TWEEEEST is too complicated for chuclefuck to think of. Shame, could have been neat - with several races' characters being about doubting what you're told/rejecting doctrine (avian rejecting kluex, apex rejecting big ape, floran rejecting murdering everything) in previous versions it could have tied into your character trusting evidence rather than taking what they're told on faith.

No. If your client is not the same as the server's, you get an asset mismatch and can't join. This goes for mods, too

Also don't be silly, everyone knows any kind of respawn or lives mechanic never actually exists in-universe or is always conveniently disabled when the plot demands it. Look at the Borderlands series or Bioshock.

You know the sad thing is that I read Esther's journal after she gave it to me just to see if it answered any of the various questions I have about her. It didn't and I wasted my time. Am I missing a codex that actually does fill in the bad gaps in the plot or did Chuckledicks just decide what they came up with was perfectly fine and it's not like anyone would notice the holes?
