Honestly these changes just make the game far more convenient to deal with. It's like how old rpgs didn't have an auto system for grinding tedious shit, and now they do. It's nothing more than a quality enhancement that should've already in been in the game a long time ago.

There is a clear difference between UI changes and simple ease of life automation and shit that gives an unfair advantage. Macros also aren't cheating. Most games will allow you to use them, as long as they aren't long, extensive and complicated ones. Aka, doing entire combos. A better way to put it would be botting. You can't really call the skill queue a combo macro as you are still required to manually click each of the skills, place them and time them. It's a ease of life macro, something most things will be ok with.

Tell me why skill queue should be considered cheating, they are even adding it to the game now. Or any other feature Viramate has, really. We are not talking about FPS hacks or similar stuff here, that's plain wrong. Cygames is just incompetent at fixing things.

You also have an unfair advantage with being able to see real-time status effect timers, which was not what the game was designed around. With Viramate, you're far more efficient than somebody that plays naturally, seeing as you can perfectly time your attacks for HP triggers, not wasting time checking for status effect timers and zero input delay, outside of Internet latency.

I don't disagree that they're good features that should be in the game, but they aren't. When they get implemented, feel free to justify their existence, because I'll welcome it. Until then, you can whine about how you're not cheating, but you're only lying to yourself.

Skill queue is unnecessary but I will argue that the game IS designed around status effect timers and % hp indicators. Stun, flare, and other relatively new effects are very timing dependent. Medusa HL used to have a deadly 2% hp trigger which is only one pixel on the bar. The devs don't play their game so they're not annoyed by these retarded shit.

Same can be said for WoW addons.

Where in developer mode can you see the code they're flagging your account with? Looked in console but can't see anything. No idea where to look under network.

Having 100% knowledge of those timers is unfair over those that don't, that's the thing.

When something has a huge amount of HP, you always have people with add-ons that can time their defences perfectly. When something is stunned, they can stop at the exact second, rather than checking and figuring out for themselves, while also giving a bit of a safety net.

A WoW macro that automates 90% of the game, sure.
