What are the main differences between the CBR 300 and the CBR 500? I'm considering buying my first motorcycle, any recommendations?

>pic related

just a friendly reminder harley-davidson bikes are LITERALLY shit

200

but actually go for the 500.

Where do I find a hipster to sell my old beaten up leather jacket?

We meme thread now

craigslist
offerup
ebay

Where do I get 90's leathers

Why not just break in your own leather jacket?

What?

Don't trip the OP, for dicks sake.

same tbh2

Buy a quality leather jacket and wear it and break it in yourself

What the fuck are you talking about.

he's trying to sell his jacket ya dingus

Fleabay retard. Bought my classic biker jacket for 50 dollars on there. Dude bought it in Germoney back in 2000 and just wanted it to go to someone who would use it more than he ever did.

That's what I get for half ass reading.
Carry on gentleman, nothing to see here

that's what I did for mine. love the rocker look but it is cooler than me.

>but it is cooler than me.
So are the Teletubbies though.

It's ok it happens.

I dunno if I should sell it tough I'm kinda fond of it.

daily reminder that honda a shit

post pics

I won't argue that.

It's fun breaking um in though. When I got my last one it was a bit stiff so I'd always go ride in the rain and such just to get it super snug and feel right.

Just toss it in the closet, never know when you'll need an extra leather jacket man

Acerbis hollywood

It is a proven fact that Aprilia makes the fastest and funnest bikes

You misspelled Harley

should've got a dorso

seconded
>shiver
>not an RXV 550
>not a dorsoduro
5.5/10

Is there a thing I could buy or rent that would allow me to raise the motorcycle to make maintenance easier? Must be possible to use outside and cannot fix it to floor. Centrestand just isn't enough, and no space for a lift bridge. Am willing to niggerrig.

Eh, dorso had the >muh'tard> tax
Plus i actually have a comfy seat...
RVF/RSV are in my wet dreams
>Have you even seen motoGP?
Get stands, nigger
Or do ad that zone idiot did and hang your bike

two straps that go to the roof of your house together with a pulley sistem

So any reason not to get an Indian roadmaster in Diamond blue as my dd?

any legitimate reasons? no
subjective, sure.

No. Post pics when you do

Is so pretty and comfortable. Best parts is its not an every day hardly ableson

It's indian
Ask the KTM guy what that means
>Kkk approves
Reason enough

What ktm guy?
I haven't heard anything but good stuff about the new Indians. Do you have any legitimate proof of anything wrong with them, or just parroting and opinions?

>it's gonna take a month to ship my boots
>not even to get them they're gonna ship them to me NEXT MONTH

But then again they're like 50€ cheaper than anywhere else.

Do it?

Earplugs. Do you just use the cheap squishy ones, or some more expensive alien dildo shaped ones?

yes

cheap ones thousand a pack for 10 bucks

>riding with earplugs
hahaha

the ones that vibrate and get moist

What?

>he doesnt want to hear his bike

>38 gallons of storage
Yes please

What do you guys think of nighttime highway rides?

how reliable are they? don't think i've ever seen any shit talked about them

Nothing...
I personally do not like them...

Highway rides in general are shit.

Cheap and squishy because comfort and pretty much highest dB reduction you're going to get from plugs. Buy the ones in bulk that come in little packaged pairs. Keep a few in your jacket pockets/tank bag/top box etc. You'll always have a pair around. Doesn't matter if you lose them. You'll have clean ones to give to any pillion qt's.

Is like riding at day, but with less lights!

I wear a Shoei Neotec and have a pretty good screen so I don't have a problem but I used to wear Shure SE215 earphones on my sports tourer with triple flange tips that go half way to your brain.

If you want straight sound attenuation while maintaining situational awareness, go to a music shop (for musicians, not HMV) and buy attenuating earplugs, they evenly deaden sounds across the frequency range so you can enjoy your engine sounds without going deaf from them or the wind.

It's called avoiding hearing loss. Between flying on helicopters for a living and riding I would be deaf in a year if I didn't wear earplugs all the time.

good stuff, though rural byways > highways

I do it almost on the daily. It's meh unless you're flying past everything at nearing twice their speed. And at that point, it's pretty damn dangerous.

>thinking you can't hear through ear plugs

if it's around the city it's cool, if you're out in BFE with no lights, it sucks.

When I get my motorcycle running I'm planning in using it as a daily driver, when I come home from work at night I already have to deal with dumbass deer trying to commit vehicular suicide. I'll be damned if one tries to run in front of my motorcycle. I'm more afraid of animals on the road than people.

200 cc probably...

No problem, everyone has lines amd dislikes. What's indian have to do with ktm though?

I do most of my leisurely riding at night, more comfy, but I'm more cautious due to party scene

Generally I hate them but I had a truly magical moment last year:

>Warm summer night
>Heading home
>Hit a stretch of motorway with LED cat's eyes
>The Game Has Changed pops up in my playlist
>Enjoy a truly Tron-like ride

Been riding for 19 years, never worn earplugs, no hearing loss either, last had my hearing tested in march.

earplugs only cancel out the high, damaging noises like the wind noise and shit. you will hear your engine and your surroundings still

Comfy as fuck
>with the right gear and music
The bike is mechanically really sound
The v-twin is as stronk as you'd expect it, with the expected /soul/ and character of italian bikes
The electronics are bullshit
>this morning the reserve light decided to off itself

That's cute but that's not the way it is for everyone, a LOT of people have encountered hearing loss from riding.

This

Pics or it didn't happen.

>this morning the reserve light decided to off itself

That's called Italian Soul®™

Is there any way to find good scenic roads near me?

>scenic farm road near me named Coffin Road
>ride down it, have a blast
>learn a few days later that there was a dead body dumped there
>Coffin Road

...

this

I just don't feel the fuckhueg landbarge appeal, especially when their motors are nothing to write home about

google maps or just go exploring

>hat does an indian have to do with a ktm though
this to be honest, now im curious too.

It's a great way to cross the country and take long road trips.
It has the largest and most powerful Vtwin in production. It's not a bad bike.
Again, have you rode one or just opinions without any actual experience?

The cocking bastard even had the nerve to come back on as the engine was putting to a halt
At least i drained the tank, i guess...
>fill 'er up with 100octane
>roars considerably happier
I swear that thing sometimes has a mind of it's own
>and i love her for that

I don't think anyone on dbt has ridden a roadmaster m80

>tfw no indian

So just a typical parrot. Gotcha

Look at that every day and make your dream come true mang

Hey mudkip, wanna buy a Clarke 4.0 gallon natural colored fuel tank?

>roadmaster>any harley touring bike

that's the goal, although I just saw this and I really want it

denver.craigslist.org/mcy/5568685330.html

Get one nigga. It's only 30k

Test rode a couple, never owned one
The twin is sweet, but it's letargic as fuck
The bike feels clumsy and small manouvers will have you swimming in molasses
Once it gets going it's really comfy, though i didn't dig the seating position

not really, i already have an IMS 4 gallon

I still would rather have a CVO electra glide tbqh family

It's still something I'd chose over a goldwing any day

I'm worried the boots I want might be too bulky for my itty bitty baiku.

What if they're too think for my gear shifter and too stiff to move my feet on the rear brake?
WHAT THEN?

GOD I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

>As much as an italian concept bike
Wew lad

What are the signs that you need to rebuild your brake master cylinder or caliper?

Brembos are an original part on my bike, and they're known for being a bit soft. I've done the normal fixes like drilling extra holes in the banjo bolt, and I got it to firm up a bit today but I still don't have the rock solid lever feel like I do with the Nissins on my other bike. If I do NOT lose pressure when holding in the lever does it mean all my seals are good?

>less power
>more common
>not as well built
>in can go on
Ur munnies though homie

It's not like that's a fuck ton of money.

You're gonna have to re-learn how stuff feels
Especially if you get mx boots

Damn, the dude i bought my xr600 from told me it was for the bike and threw it in for free, but it didn't fit, its for xr400s and later models xr250s.
